Kent Science Park is undertaking a programme of public consultation and engaging with local residents on a further £25m investment, which would create an estimated 500 jobs and deliver a significant economic boost to the Swale economy.

This website outlines plans that will form the basis of a series of planning applications to be put before Swale Borough Council. These include a new Arrivals Centre, the development of further Technology Units, designed for knowledge-based businesses, and the expansion of the Park by four hectares to accommodate new companies and an international headquarters building for Ecologia.

These proposals, which are consistent with the Swale Local Plan, would ensure that the Park has the ability to accommodate the needs of existing tenants and new companies moving to the Park over the next four to five years.

As part of the public engagement process we will be asking the residents on Ruins Barn Road for their views about traffic issues on the road itself and how they think these issues can be dealt with.
